Here’s What To Expect When Sending Review Units To 65 Drums

  1. Be aware that I don’t make Sponsored Product Showcase videos. My videos are meant to be 3rd party, unbiased reviews. I try to cover the good and bad of each product in a fair way.

  2. If you want your product reviewed, email me the specs, photos, and a video if you have one. I'll provide the shipping address if I think the product fits the 65 Drums audience.

  3. If you need the video to be released on a certain day, please send the product 3 weeks in advance. I want to live with the product for awhile, and the video itself takes time to make.

  4. I avoid collaborating with drum companies that require final video edit approval before publication. This helps keep the channel independent and unbiased.

  5. This next thing is rare. But if the product is poorly constructed, doesn't work as advertised, breaks during normal use, or other unforeseen situations, I reserve the right to cancel the video. In the past I’ve received some low quality drums that have prompted this disclaimer.

  6. Please refrain from sending prototypes. Prototypes often have minor design issues that were resolved in the final release. Some companies forget about this and send me something that isn’t quite finished.

  7. Please send a return shipping label so I can mail the product back after the video is complete. If it’s a very large box that will not fit in a car, please send a home pickup label instead of a drop off label.

  8. If I agree to review the product, I’m agreeing to make a video for YouTube. I may also publish photos or video clips across Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, X, or Threads. But that is not guaranteed.

  9. Feel free to share the link to the entire video review on socials. But please do not clip 10 seconds of the review video to use in advertising campaigns, or to share on social media. That’s normal for paid showcase promotional videos, but I don’t make those.
